We had the good fortune of connecting with Kelly Jenkins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kelly, how do you think about risk?
I have been a risk taker for some time now. A good friend of mine told me that if you really want something you just gotta go for it. It seems that the more I take a risk the more it works out for me. Yes there is a lot to consider. When doing so. But everything is figureoutable. I took a risk moving my family to another state and I couldn’t be happier that I did.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I moved to Georgia 2 years ago. I was here only a few months when I met some amazing ladies on the real estate business. After hearing their stories of success I decided that this would be my next step. That next year I enrolled in school and took my courses to pass. It wouldn’t be until a year later that I would actually begin to work in my current field. It took some time due to covid and testing sites shutting down before I was able to take my exam. As well as change of plans but I was able to get it done. I had so much support and assistance from friends and advice from fellow agents. I Definitely had to study hard and keep myself motivated. I definitely learned nothing worth having comes easy. But it is all worth it in the end.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love the metro area there is so much to do here. I love being in Atlanta downtown, midtown, all around town as well lol. I don’t truly have a favorite area as I enjoy exploring things to do here and finding new areas to hang with friends. I am a vegan and I love going and trying out all the new vegan spots around Atlanta. To Name a few lifebistro, plant-based pizza, soul vegetarian, slutty vegan, fauxburger, go vegan grill and grassvbq to name a few. Are some of my definite go tos.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My sisters and family and friends have supported me thru this whole journey and I appreciate them so much and all the love they have shown me. I definitely wouldn’t be able to have done so much without their support. Thank you guys love y’all.
