We had the good fortune of connecting with Keisha Sweat and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keisha, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought Process for starting my business was to empower and be an example to women and that women can not only be successful but they can dominate in a industry typically ruled by men.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the CEO of a luxury car rental and production company based in Atlanta Georgia. We pride ourselves in providing amazing customer service and a luxury experience to all our clients. What sets my company apart from its competitors is that it’s all female owned and operated in an industry typically dominated by men. We believe in women empowerment and entrepreneurship. Starting your own business can be difficult and there have been challenges I have faced along the way but I am grateful that I have a great foundation, a great team and an amazing support system. I feel like I what has gotten me where I am today business-wise is my strong work ethic, discipline, and my network. What I have learned is that social media often times makes entrepreneurship seem so easy and glamorous and while it does have its benefits and rewards, there is a lot of hard work that goes on behind the scenes.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting me for a week….

Sunday we would start the day by grabbing brunch and mimosas at TOAST and then bike riding on the belt line. Monday we would grab a bite to eat at Farsi’s Kitchen, where we can smoke hookah and watch the live fire show. Tuesday we could take a paint class at the Splatter Paint studio. Wednesday we could have a night out on the town and listen to some R&B classics at Red Martini for R&B Wednesdays. Thursday and Friday would be the day to rest and recoup from our hangovers and Saturday we would do a pilates class at Solidcore and do some shopping at Perimeter Mall.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my parents Keith and Robin, who have always been my biggest support systems and have always been a amazing role models, always setting the perfect example of what its like to work hard and to persist with your dreams and aspirations. I would also like to shout out my best friends snd my siblings who are so encouraging and supportive of everything I do and lastly my late Grandmother Juanita Sweat who helped raise me to be the woman I am today. I am so grateful for all the valuable lessons she instilled in me.
