We had the good fortune of connecting with Keilanni and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keilanni, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking risk are necessary for success. On one hand it will be worth the risk. On the other hand if the risk was not worth it, it was still a lesson to be learned. In my case leaving Corporate America to work for myself was a big risk. But it was definitely worth it.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am most excited on how my clientele has expanded and still expanding. Getting to where I am today was simply education. I still take classes when time permits because I can always keep perfecting my craft. I am not afraid of a challenge and I take them head on. A lessons that I’ve learned is not to stay complacent in just hair. Today, I make custom wigs, provide lash extensions, Microshading, and I sale bundles. My brand is simple. I provide the best quality products because that’s what I would expect. As for my clients they come in as new clients it leave as family.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would start at Chateau Elgan for a nice massage, food and drinks, ATV riding with Sunburst adventures, go to Copelands another day, Two Urban Licks another day, and Atlanta day trip to visit the wineries like: The Cottage Winery.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to recognize my kids. They give me the drive I need to push for greater.
