We had the good fortune of connecting with Keara Jewel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keara, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I believe every creator has to have a high risk tolerance. Anything can and might go wrong but from another perspective they can always be better than anything you can think of. I have taken many risks in my career. By starting a business, writing a book, making music, acting and now venturing into the modeling industry. I used to be so worried about what others might say or how long would take. But to be honest, who cares? Also the time will pass regardless and i would have rather tried than sat on the couch.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am an actress, singer and model. I have been acting since last year and i darted modeling this year. My music is my heart and i have released covers and original songs for years. I am so proud to show my vulnerable side to the world. It hasn’t been easy but i have worked on my mindset to release more of my work. Learning how to be consistent and confident has been a struggle. I want the world to go after their dreams no matter what and no matter what anyone says.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The botanical garden is so beautiful to me and relaxing.
We can always go eat at Southern queenz they have the best soul food! I love to hang out at piedmont park and maybe go to Cascade to skate.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My amazing community of supporters and friends deserve all the credit seriously. They have always lifted me up and spoke life into me. Besides that i love self help books and manifestation content, it has helped me really create my reality and go after my dreams.
