We had the good fortune of connecting with Kayla C. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kayla, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?

Leveling the playing ground for small business owners is my passion. My clients are provided custom training for entrepreneurs in marketing, strategies, trends and analysis. Most importantly, I assist SMB’s in operating and structuring their business’s operations for maximum output, higher earning power and increased employment opportunities in minority communities. From Hairstylist to CPR instructors, you can trust I provide resources to amplify businesses.

During my education, I have been exposed to traditional processes used by the world’s largest corporations. I took those methods and combined them with my in-depth knowledge of digital resources and people to help my community.

I provide consulting while providing high quality business services and digital design. Small to midsize urban or minority owned businesses need strategies similar to big corporate companies but on a condensed budget to grow.

What should our readers know about your business?

I noticed the business services offered to minorities lacked traditional methods and creative strategies necessary to function efficiently. Oftentimes they weren’t given the same quality of resources. I spent time working for non diverse corporations, but during my education I learned how to implement laser focused plans for every type of customer.

I believe you cannot have a millionaire mindset if you are not a millionaire. Average people do not have the resources, time, money, assistance, sleep, or space to think like millionaires do. I started my business with the mindset that I can operate similarly to how millionaires did before they got millions!

Being founder of the “content package” is a long time coming. This is truly for black women and people of color to get quality, affordable marketing and business assistance. Websites, logos, employee training, social media marketing, consulting and more are available.

I help clients target customers and walk them through online resources; I also create unique captivating content for a wide range of audiences. Clients include influencers, stylists, artists, dancers, designer and, dentists.

I understand mainstream marketing and I apply these methods to urban businesses.

The greatest lesson working in business management and analysis has taught me is the greatest innovation comes from scarcity, uncomfortableness and trends.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

I would do one or two things a day if my friend came in for a week. First hit the Aquarium then slide STK for sure. Maybe Magic City for a tourist-like vibe. Everyone should shop at Lenox and grab some food. Atlanta Pride is a good time to come and visit. There are so many events during that time of the year for everyone to enjoy.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shout out my Disability Studies instructor at CSUDH, Nancy M. Armstrong. She taught me new ways of identifying resources to improve our world’s infrastructure to accommodate more people.
