We had the good fortune of connecting with Karl Griffin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Karl, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
By showing them transparency as their father and leading by example. We high five, hug, and dap daily. I try to show them symbols of love outside of providing. Also showing them it’s ok to work a 9-5 as long as their passion and long term goals benefit from it. My aim is to show them they can achieve anything they want in life as long as they keep God first, create the goals and attack them.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The details of my brand is quite inconsequential (Dr. Evil quote). With the rise of social media in the past decade stemming from Myspace I realized how important it is to have an online presence. As an artist, blogger, entrepreneur, Youtuber, one thing they all desire is to be visible. This promotes credibility. I capitalize on credibility. I have developed a website that entrepreneurs go to to enhance their brand. Numbers breed numbers and growing their followers and engagement on various platforms has been my passion since 2015.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We’d start at Phipps plaza or go to Atlantic Station to do some shopping in the city. Plenty of great places to eat with good vibes so my options would be SotoSoto, Two Urban Licks or down to Arnette’s Chop shop for the best steaks in the city! For a nice drink, gota head over to Margaritaville or Ray’s in the City. Late night, my wife and I enjoy the live band at BQE lounge on a laid back vibe. When its lit with my bros, its endless but a good spot to party would be the Compound and Lyfe ATL.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to give the greatest shoutout to Jesus Christ. Through Him, I can do all things. To my wife, Markita Griffin, and our five beautiful children. To my brother, Kege de Morrow, he taught me everything I know about music outside of Georgia. I’d like to personally thank each and every recording artist, dj, radio personality, videographer, and photographer I’ve worked with. A major shoutout goes to the county of Clayton as well. Salute.
