Hi Kareen, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I am someone who like the idea of starting something from scratch, watch it grow and provide value to people.
This thought process prepared me
to expect the unexpected, understanding that time plays a major role when it comes to growth and reaching your desired goals. The idea that i am successful pursuing a career i am passionate about is what excites me the most,
I pursue skincare as a career because I wanted to solve my skin issues and i wanted to find others who have the same problem and help them.

My whole thought process was to understand that I will need to excersice patience
•Be consistent/ practice accountability

•stay on top of my industry ( continue to learn and grow)

•identify and work through any problems I am facing
.never loose sight of why I started and where I see myself in years to come.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I value aesthetics, a term encompassing all aspects of beauty. My profession provides extensive exposure to aesthetics, enriching my experience through both colleagues and travel.

My distinguishing characteristics include a strong sense of humor, client education expertise, adaptability, and the skillful application of both traditional and advanced skincare techniques. I maintain a commitment to time-tested methods while embracing innovative technologies.

My unwavering dedication to my brand has fueled my efforts since its inception. Early skepticism, often rooted in my introverted nature, has been overcome. While remaining introverted, I thrive in the extroverted environment of aesthetics, finding fulfillment and expressiveness in client interactions.

What’s sets me apart is the way I cleanse my clients with laughter and create a place where they can be themselves introvert or extrovert
Clients can also book a silent session. Just them, me and no conversations.
It’s not always a smooth process in this field of esthetic it’s gets hard, but when remember why I started and reflecting on all the wonderful adventures and the great people I meet feeds my energy and makes me happy.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite place to eat is pappadeaux,we love their crab and lobster appetizer dip the services is always 10/10.
I’m a bog foodie So whenever my friends are here on a long week stay going out to eat is on the top of our to do list.
Drinks are always a lychee Martini
For us, it’s the best!
Wellness and meditation is a must at our favorite day spa,
Yes self-care for us is a practice and a luxury we love to enjoy. The Civil Rights Center ranks among our top five destinations, serving as a potent reminder of the importance of our ongoing efforts to build a lasting legacy. We find the experience profoundly motivational and humbling. They cry everytime.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Oh yes absolutely, I want to give a huge shout out to my family for their contnious support and encouragement, showing up for me everyday in whatever way they can so that I can get closer to success.
My wonderful friend Mia CEO of Thee Self-care Movement has never allowed me to stay in my comfort zone, and always believing in my work and brand always saying “your work is amazing i just want people to know about you”, she is spectacular.
shout out to my mentor Ms Wright who made sure I came to school and challenged me to not just make it through school but to read and stay in my books, she still makes sure I’m competent.
