Meet Kala Evans | Licensed Massage Therapist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kala Evans and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kala, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
The principle that resonates with me the most is character, which to me is the embodiment of integrity. I prioritize character over talent. While skills can be taught. The core of who someone is would be their honesty, reliability and respectfulness. These intentionally shape every interaction and decision. Those attributes are what build the kind of trust and reputation my business stands on. I seek out and surround myself with individuals and partnerships that reflect this principle. This is the truest measure of long-term success and impact.

What should our readers know about your business?
ATL BodyWorks stands as a beacon in the luxury wellness space. A testament to transformation and excellence. As a two-time convicted felon turned entrepreneur. I’ve cultivated a sanctuary where high-performing individuals, from entertainers to software billionaires can find excellent care and rejuvenation. Each client’s experience is a personal triumph over my past. It’s a reflection of my journey from conviction to credibility. Now I am a five-star service provider.
What sets ATL BodyWorks apart is not just the quality of service but the story behind it. It’s a narrative of relentless perseverance and providing exceptional personal service. The belief that everyone deserves a space to feel valued and cared for. I’m most proud of the one-on-one connection with my clients and the trust they place in my hands.
The road here was not lined with ease. There were hard-fought battles that reshaped a life. The lessons learned are etched in the fabric of ATL BodyWorks. Resilience, Redemption and the unwavering pursuit of a dream that once seemed unattainable.
I want the world to know that ATL BodyWorks isn’t just my business. It’s a symbol of possibility. A place where luxury and personal transformation meet. Where every client’s visit contributes to a larger story of change and success.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Atlanta is a city of vibrant culture and culinary excellence. On a week-long visit, we’d start with breakfast at the iconic Silver Skillet. Followed by a taste of the city’s modern soul at W.H. Stiles Fish Camp in Ponce City Market. Midweek calls for a Waffle House experience. A tour of the Computer Museum of America and Cirque du Soleil, if it’s in town. Moving on to enjoy Krog Street Market’s eclectic food stalls. You must-try the Jai-ho Indian chicken melt and Ole’ Cuban Kitchen empanadas. No visit is complete without a trip to Slutty Vegan for some plant-based indulgence. Savor the clean eats at Flower Child. If you want a touch of luxury, perhaps stay at the St. Regis and dine in their Garden Room. A rooftop evening at SkyLounge is a must for breathtaking views. Throughout the week, catch a performance at the Fox Theater or a concert at State Farm Arena. It’s about savoring the flavors of the city and soaking up its dynamic energy. Finally, you definitely want to unwind with some services at ATL BodyWorks!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Big shout-out to God for blessing me! My mentors Brian N. Beane, Derrick Harper Sr., Jake Tayler Jacobs, Rotimi,
Six Figure Spa Chick, Andre Norman, Damian Burris and Attorney Lerae Funderburg. Your inspiration and belief is the fuel for my daily drive towards greatness. Immensely grateful to each of you.
