We had the good fortune of connecting with Kaitlin Campbell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kaitlin, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve always known that music was my calling. I grew up in a family of musicians and at a very young age I fell in love with music and it’s impact on my life. Music has gotten me through a lot of situations. Shortly after graduation, I realized that I had a passion for helping artists grow and develop, and my ultimate goal was to create a platform for them to showcase their talents. So I started with marketing first, I began marketing for any and every artist that I could. After that, I decided to expand to management and event coordination. I remember thinking about how many talented people and young entrepreneurs that I knew, and I wanted to get everybody together to collaborate and network. I reached out to my collegiate friends and professional colleagues and I put together a production team as well as a band known as Melodic Touch.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am most proud of the showcases that we were able to have despite the pandemic. I ran into a lot of challenges because as soon as we got to a point that we could gig, the pandemic started and everything got shut down. Instead of letting this stop us from performing and getting exposure for us as a new band, I had the idea to create our own opportunities to perform. I began to plan showcases. I found venues and hired a dj, security, bartenders, vendors, artist to perform, videographer etc. I used these showcases as exposure for the band, independent artist, as well as vendors. In 2021, I’m looking forward to our virtual concert series called Shed Talk. This will allow artist to work with our Melodic Touch team to showcase their craft in our very own studio!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
One of my favorite things about Atlanta is the diversity! Everyday of the week, there is something to do! I love music; so one of my favorite hobbies is going around the city and listening to live music. Three of my favorite places to go for live music are BQE Restaurant & Lounge, Apache Cafe, and Cigar Bar. There are tons of lounges, restaurants, and clubs to choose from that stay open all day with great vibes! Lastly, it is a lot of art around the city of Atlanta. I’d recommend taking a day to ride around and view the art in the city, take a nice walk and visit Piedmont Park. Also my favorite restaurants to visit in the city are Negril Village Atlanta, Benihana, and Houston’s Restaurant.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First, I have to give all honor and glory to God for instilling this vision in me. I’d like to thank my entire team for being apart of this vision and helping me bring it to life. I’d also like to thank all of our friends and family that support us in everything we do! Lastly, I’d like to give a shoutout to my right hand man, my MD (Music Director, AK Kavalli), for all of his sacrifices and the amount of loyalty that he has shown me thus far. He has been right by my side every step of the way!
