We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Webber and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Justin, why did you pursue a creative career?
So much of life is cemented in rigid ideals—what’s good or bad, right or wrong, following set paths and predefined rules. Photography and videography, on the other hand, allow for a kind of freedom that’s rare in other parts of life. In creativity, there’s no universal “right” or “wrong.” It’s all about what you feel, what you see, and how you want to tell the story. That openness to interpretation, that ability to shape something entirely from your imagination, is what drew me to an artistic career. It’s a space where the only limits are the ones you set for yourself, and that kind of freedom is empowering and inspiring.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m excited about bringing others’ crafts or businesses to the forefront of people’s attention. The hard work and dedication they pour into their passions deserve to be showcased in the best light, and that’s what I strive to deliver through visual storytelling. Whether it’s a small business, a unique location, or an individual’s journey, I want my work to inspire people to see the beauty, effort, and creativity in what others do or life has to offer.

Getting to where I am today has been a leap of faith. I’ve always had a hunger for knowledge, and while that’s a strength, it can also hold me back. I often feel like I’ll never know enough, which creates self-doubt and a sense of being overwhelmed, especially as I’m still new to this profession. Overcoming those moments has required me to take risks and trust the process, even when the outcome is uncertain.

My brand is built around inspiring action. I want people to feel motivated to explore, to try something new, or to appreciate the hidden gems around them. In our bustling city, there are so many incredible places, stories, and talents that go unnoticed or overshadowed. My goal is to shine a creative light on those gems, to help them stand out and connect with others in meaningful ways.

Lessons learned? The biggest one is to embrace imperfection and keep moving forward. Growth doesn’t come from waiting until you feel ready—it comes from showing up, experimenting, and learning from mistakes.

What I want the world to know about me and my story is simple: I’m here to inspire and to bring the extraordinary in the ordinary to life, one project at a time.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We’d start with high-energy fun at a trampoline park and go-kart racing before heading to The Battery for dinner and drinks. A visit to the High Museum of Art and a stroll through Piedmont Park would add some culture and relaxation, followed by the Georgia Aquarium and Centennial Olympic Park for iconic Atlanta sights. We’d explore the Beltline’s street art, breweries, and food spots and venture out to hidden hiking trails like Sweetwater Creek for a taste of nature. To top it off, we’d catch a concert at The Tabernacle.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, my family—especially my wife and son. A lot of my passion originates from capturing the memorable moments we share together, preserving the small yet meaningful pieces of life that bring us joy. My wife deserves so much credit for always putting up with me lugging around my excessive amount of gear on every trip, big or small, and supporting my vision, even when it takes over our plans.

Social media has also played a big role. Platforms like Reddit and Instagram have allowed me to connect with so many talented individuals, giving me access to knowledge, feedback, and opportunities for growth. It’s incredible how much inspiration and learning can come from those online communities, continuously shaping and refining my craft.

This journey wouldn’t be the same without the unwavering support of those closest to me and the broader creative community that constantly challenges me to grow.
