We had the good fortune of connecting with Justice Bell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Justice, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I am from a suburban town in Georgia named Duluth. Growing up, I was focused primarily on my academics and prioritized achieving great grades in high school. I was involved with AP classes, Dual Enrollment courses, a Gifted Internship and much more, but I was always focused on school. Once I left home for college, I started to expand beyond my academic potential and got involved in many other ways. I joined many on-campus organizations, started to volunteer in my community, and explored my creative side. I was willing to try just about anything to learn who I truly was and in that journey, I picked up Graphic Design. My mentor, Niave Collins, is single-handedly the one that inspired me to take Graphic Design serious and helped me explore my creative side. I started out doing graphics on my free time, then I gained a job at my campus’ local radio station, WOLFRadio. I started my business, JustDesign, shortly after and started freelancing wherever and however I could. From a small suburban girl to a graphic designer, I have learned so much about myself and continue to expand in graphics and much more.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
JustDesign is a business that is geared towards college students. Many college students don’t have the time or resources to create quality graphics that represent their project well and JustDesign is geared towards helping their visions come to life. JustDesign works with our clients to create affordable and high quality graphics in a timely manner. I am most proud of creating a valuable resource to college students in a time where it is difficult for students to be able to support their lifestyle and pay for extra steps to make their projects come to life. I have learned this is important to help our own community as much as possible and as a college student, I understand the hurdles to having a dream but not being able to afford the resources that help that dream, or not being able to find the time to make our dreams come true. JustDesign takes the pressure off our clients and becomes one step easier for our clients. JustDesign will continue to help out local college students in any way possible!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My personal favorite spots in Atlanta include Ponce City Market & any skating rink. I have been skating for 4 years and many people of my personal circle know that I roller skate whenever I can. I also have a new found love for Ponce City Market and love to just explore the shops and bond with my companions there. Outside of those spots, I can’t stop myself from stopping at an Insomnia Cookie spot whenever I am in the city, or from finding a local library and finding my peace of mind.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I will always give the biggest gratitude to my former mentor, Niave Collins. I also would love to shoutout my partner, Jamya Smith, owner of Unique Folks Only clothing brand. She continues to push me to expand my horizons and explore who I am. My motivation and success are all also directly based on my love for my younger sister. I will do anything to make my sister proud and will continue to make her proud in any way I can.
