We had the good fortune of connecting with Joyce O’Neal and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joyce, how does your business help the community?
Scripture says “People are destroyed from lack of knowledge”; Hosea 4:6, from that perspective and my approach, I believe social impact by measure isn’t measurable as it applies to the unmet range regarding wisdom and knowledge associative to the root cause of conditions that lead to sickness and disease.

When people have ongoing medical issues to no resolution, but increased Dr. Visits, more prescriptions that’s the open door for Holystic You to engage. The wisdom, insight and knowledge I bring to the home front, encourages, empowers and motivates clients to take a deeper look into why? I believe people may take by his stripes we are healed as a general statement instead of reading, studying and getting understanding of the blood sweat sacrifice on Calvary and the power in the blood.

Social impact, from a community approach and a world approach; I would say because I take strides daily to applying Kingdom Business principles, neither the word or servitude that I do for the kingdom will return empty.
I believe and trust the word of God,, I know from experience by applying wisdom which is the principle thing; I will impact surrounding communities and the impact will overflow into the world. I am linked up with leaders that are willing vessels of God who lead by example, I have served and followed which has shaped me. I understand my leading by example,and walking in Spirit and in truth I will see the manifestations of God’s promises overflow into the lives of others and the vision for the business.

One great leader said “One way to recognize what God can do is to remember what God has done in the past and what God will do in the present”. In the past Jesus took spit and clay and brought sight to the blind, Jesus rose Lazarus from the dead, Jesus made water come from a rock, Jesus opened the Red Sea and I could go on. It is essential to the life of the believer and myself to remember what the son of man has already done. I am called to serve with no limits or boundaries as long as I am serving within the will of my father.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I would say i’m currently working in a dual career, health and wellness and with youth. I also have a cleaning service. I believe what sets me apart from others is that I chase purpose and not paper in other words money. I do not compromise the vision that God gave me to serve and help others for money. I trust God as my source to provide everything I need financially. I stand on the principles of 3 John 2-3 the health, wellness and prosperity scripture. I believe in the promises of God and that those promises are my portion according to Joshua 21:45. (ESV): 45 “Not one word of all the good promises that the LORD had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass.”

The only thing that I’d say I am proud of if I used to be the daughter of God. It doesn’t matter how you shape it proud is too close to pride therefore I say I am happy for others as they prosper in life. With all that said I am happiest to still be here! With so many deaths across the nation from the recent pandemic I look at life from a different view.

I give credit to my creator for where I am today. I’ve learned through shortcomings, wrong choices, and errors to consult with God on all matters. Has it been easy? No. Anything that is tied to purpose I believe is very challenging but because of the passion within you find the will through the weariness to keep going.

What would like people to know is to remember that your story is Gods Glory and while on the journey called life remember purpose connects to kingdom so when people hear my story and see the brand they will know I Holystic You was branded by God. I am a willing vessel that said yes!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My best friend and I have a lot in common. I would take my best friend to monumental historical sights, My itinerary goal would be to visit 3 locations per day. These are my selections.

Christ Jesus Luke 1:37 For with God Nothing Shall Be impossible

Shouts out to my parents who were married 53 years until my mothers passing.

My Mother who fulfilled the date behind the dash, “Constance V. Gathright” trained me up in the way that I should go and I didn’t depart from it. My mom gave me great spiritual foundational principles that let me know beyond the shadow of doubt that God is the way the truth and the life. My mother also taught me financial stewardship through the principles of tithing and giving to those in need. My mother taught and was the example of servant leadership. My mother was a giver.

Tommy L. Gathright, my dad is living and sold out for Christ at the great age of 80 and I am happy that he is here! The Bible teaches fathers to raise their children up in the admonition of the Lord but oftentimes and this has been throughout history that you see women actively taking on that role.
