We had the good fortune of connecting with Joshua “Ridock King” Keller and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joshua “Ridock King”, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I view risks as potential opportunities. There is something about the unknown that intrigues me. I never see any moves as risky I view them as an opportunity or a lesson. I thrive on healthy risk taking, it challenges me to constantly step my game up.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am excited about the gifts that I am able to share with the world whether it’s my books that I write, music I create, brands that I start-up. I deliver innovation, I never want my products to look, sound or feel like everyone and everything else. I take pride in creating dope, innovative things. To overcome a challenge one must simply focus on finding a solution and creating things around them that will help surmount said obstacle in the future. One of The biggest lessons in life if you want to accomplish anything you have to execute and not stand still hoping, wishing and praying. Take action! My brand Dream Plan Execute is designed to not only inspire but to remind people that they have what it takes they just have to “dream, plan, and execute” in order to bring their vision to fruition. King Keller Edutainment LLC is my film production company, Keller Legacy Enterprises LLC runs our real estate and home inspections, and Grind Point Academy is for the youth.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If it were a female in need of a hair appointment I would recommend Six Skirtz Beauty Salon, food spots to eat are Green Love Kitchen, Green Soma, Who’s Got Soul, The Blood type kitchen, The Herb Garden, Your Vitamin Lady, Luxor Kreations Event Hall

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
God above all, but I’d like to shout-out my mentors Fred Whiten (President Emeritus 100 Black men Philadelphia chapter), Dr James Jackson (Professor Kutztown University), Donald Clayton (Army retired.), My dear friend Daquisha Barber (owner Six Skirtz beauty salon), and Dr Claud Anderson.
