Meet Josh Krage | Musician / TV Camera Op

We had the good fortune of connecting with Josh Krage and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Josh, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
Our balance had already changed greatly before the pandemic, and of course during the pandemic it went into flux as well, but throughout the last few years we’ve rediscovered how important playing music is to both of us and have made extra efforts to play out in front of people as often as possible

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My wife and I both play in several bands in our area and are both songwriters and music composers to an extent. We have learned to support each other in our separate endeavors and joint ventures as well, and have striven for a balance that includes our day jobs, time with our kiddo, and lots of music in several forms. Our duo Love + Honey is a flexible format of performance we cater to every client uniquely, and it’s a joy for us to change and grow to meet each new challenge
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
This is a long list, but for each category: Eat:
– Canon East Sac
– Solomon’s Delicatessen
– Binchoyaki
– Urban Roots
Drink:
– The Torch Club
– Franquette
– b-side
Entertainment:
– The Green Room Social Club
– The Russ Room
– Shady Lady Saloon

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Amy Anne Kräge – my wife!
