We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Gonzalez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jordan, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
“The greatest risk a person can take is to do nothing.” -Robert Kiyosaki

I have taken many risks throughout my life and career, both personally and professionally. Finding my passion for film and photography, finding love and a life partner, and ultimately finding my inner happiness all have involved taking risks. I was in a serious motorcycle accident at 22 that I really shouldn’t have been fortunate enough to survive. But since I did, I made a promise to myself to treat every single day after that as a bonus. I was playing things safe at that time in my life and enjoying the fruits of my labor as a young and successful barber. I was comfortable and had stopped thinking about how many things I still wanted to do and accomplish. So from the point on, I told myself I would never settle for comfort out of fear of the unknown. I was given a bonus round at life and I wasn’t going to play things safe or look for comfort around me. I was going to make an impact on the people’s lives I encountered. So I took the risk of starting my own business and after about 4 years of growing in my home town, I took the risk of expanding and moving my business to Atlanta. See I embody taking risks. I could be the mascot. But just know that means one day I will also be the face of success…

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My brand DIAMONDdotmedia is still making it’s way in the music industry but I plan for that name and my own to be synonymous with the biggest and best music videos from all the hottest artists. We have goals of helping to create an image for artists’s rising up to that helps to catapult them into super stardom.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a big shout out to my support system at home, my fiance Sarah. She always pushes me to believe in myself and my vision. Also, big shout out to the big bro GT Films and Mrs. GT Films. In an industry that can be very hush hush and tight nit, they’ve welcomed myself and others into their network and shared knowledge with me that no one else was willing to. Thanks so much for being all the way 100 GT family!
