Hi Neka, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
The habits that has helped me succeed is being okay with learning from my mistakes and staying consistent. I enjoy learning and I feel like you should never stop learning and anything that you are consistent with will only get better and flourish.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets my business apart from other is the top notch quality that I provide! I have a 100 percent customer satisfaction rate! I got to were I was because I made it my business to become a necessity and not just a want. It was not easy and there was a lot of research and money that I had to put into my business to make it a success! I overcame my challenges by staying consistent and showing up even when I didn’t feel like it. I’ve leaned that it takes money to mark money and you have to invest yourself if you want to be a successful entrepreneur. I want the world to know that even on the days that you feel like you don’t have any support still post and show up. Never give up because consistency is key. My brand is about providing protection and top notch luxury bonnets that protects your hair as well as make you feel beautiful. My brand is about investing in your self . Self love and care is the best love,
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The first place I would take my friend that was visiting will be downtown Atlanta. Just the view itself is breath taking riding throughout the city. I would take them to an Atlanta hawks game first night and then we would go to eat at Kiku’s . Throughout the week we will go to different places such as putt shack, top golf, sling shot, and the painted duck which is a bowling alley that has awesome drinks and foods and fun ! I love places that has good vibes And music! It will be vital to check out these places just to name a few to enjoy the city of Atlanta !
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a shout out to my husband, he’s always been in my corner and alway invested in me. He has pushed me to keep pursuing my dreams even when I wanted to give up. Thank you Rodney I love you!
