We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremiah Pitts and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeremiah, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process of starting my own business came from me just being tired of working for other people. Waking up early on other people’s time was never my thing. I like waking up on my own time and for everyday to be pay day which is why i started working for myself.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My clothing business is called Billionaires Behind Mask and i print and make custom logos. I am currently working on an official release date but so far I’ve sold a couple samples and they were sold out the first day. I sell shirts , hoodies and hats as of right now. I also accept custom request designs and colors because i want my customers to have the finest quality of every product i offer. What sets me apart from others is my ambition. I’ve stopped playing video games and going to parties so that i can pursue the life i dream of. What i am most proud or excited about is how close i am to turning my dreams into reality. I am literally a couple steps away and I’m doing things that I’ve had doubts would work. On the side i started investing in wholesale real estate and when i first started doing my research i had doubts about it now that i have talked to people in the business I’m ready to rock and roll. Business wise i am where i am by staying consistent and keeping your goals ahead of you. Also never beat yourself up when you run into inconveniences. It was definitely far from easy especially because i tend to think and doubt ideas that i had. A lot of problems I’ve run into were finding the right product, making sure the product doesn’t shrink or fade when washed and does the product run true to size. The way i overcame my challenges is by taking my time to test each product to make sure it doesn’t fade or shrink. Lessons I’ve learned along the way are that you have to see and believe the vision before making others see. You also have to trust yourself and that the bad doesn’t always mean the end. I want the world to know that i am a trust worthy brand and we provide the best product.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A good place in the city to visit is a movie theater called ipic. It’s a theater where you can eat real food. Another place is the ponce market rooftop. The vibe and music is really cool. There is a strip in the city called edgewood and every club plays yall your favorite music from reggae to R and B and rap. Riding thru the city during the night is cool just to see how the skyscapers light up the city. the hotels are some of the best and have some breath taking views. Another thing is the mall lenox. It’s a high end mall filled with luxury stores and even celebrities.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shoutout my family for standing firmly behind every dream i had no matter how outrageous it sounded. I’ve also received a lot of support from friends and coworkers and i greatly appreciate everybody who gave me advice and tips on the right path in life.
