We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenny McIntire and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jenny, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We moved to Atlanta in 2022, and purchased a home that desperately needed some love and updates. After slowly renovating the inside and the outside, our new neighbors started asking us about our process and wanted advice on their garden areas.i was looking for a creative outlet that would allow me to make some extra income, so it was time to start our small business!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Much like home care, and tending to flowers, it’s all a growing process. We’re so excited to share our experience with those who need the creative guidance and flowers
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would say we should get sushi from the Sushi Factory and after dinner head over to Starrcade and play some pinball.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
When I think about people who inspired me I always think about my Mother, Aunt Jama, and uncle Don.
As a child I was always rearranging furniture, and clipping photos out of magazines of what I wanted my bedroom to look like. My mother even purchased a gallon of paint for me to paint my bedroom. When I wasn’t with my mom, I was seen gardening at my Aunt and Uncle’s house. Almost every weekend I would be outside helping them with yard work, or gardening, they taught me about flowers and how to care for your home. I look back and am so thankful for them to have influenced my interest in flowers and caring for a home that has led me to the joys of my small business.
