We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Edwards and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jennifer, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I chose an artistic career because I felt too boxed in at a 9-5 job. I can express so many emotions dancing. Dancing is a form of communication and expression that I highly value

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Where I am today is because of hard work and dedication to dance and entertainment. I face a lot of judgment as a dancer but it doesn’t bother me. I keep working hard to perfect my craft.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I like everything thing familiar but I’m a foodie at the same time. I love to eat at Ruth Chris but my favorite thing is a good seafood boil

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out my Agent Jessica. She has always been there for me since I started dancing. She is like a sister to me
