We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer DuPree and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jennifer, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I  started on my meal prep business venture due to my weighloss surgery I’m 2016 with Dr. Tuggle at Peachtree Bariatrics. I wanted to change my life to become healthier and more active ..I started at 310lb and lost a total of 127 my first year out of surgery with the vertices sleeve. I noticed a lot of individuals were having this procedure , end up gaining majority of there weight back due to poor nutrition and food choices. So I started off meal prepping for kicks and giggles. Many of friends on my Facebook suggested I should really start meal prepping. I was hesitate. I started taking my heath seriously after being injured from a torn ligament in my knee back in 2021.

I had time to look and research about food, how it inflames your body , looking into different seasoning, oils and spices to prepare food.. So while I was healingng physically, I wanted to heal my body in the inside so I can be better.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My Business Beautiful Healthy You l is a healthy meal prep service with twist to make your everyday foods healthier and delicious . We take everyday foods that people love so much, take the guesswork out of their meal prep to provide beautiful healthy amazing meals to fit into their lifestyle.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank God for everything . Without him, I would be lost. I want to thank my beautiful daughter bella for being my motivation to keep pushing for better, my friends and family for supporting and believing in my vision to help individuals learn about food and live a better and healthier life.
