We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Benefield and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jennifer, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking risk can be a scary thought. Many people fear the unknown and struggle with decision-making in business. As an entrepreneur, I found myself there many times. Fear of what if, but to achieve success, you must be willing to face failures. In life, we never plan to fail, but unforeseen circumstances tend to happen as a result we can miss our goals. It’s important to understand the significance of failure. Get up, redo, restart, and renew. I have failed in several areas, but the key 🔑 was the lesson learned in that process. On a positive note, some risks were a benefit to propel the business to the next level. Words of encouragement, as long as you’re physically, mentally and spiritually able you can do anything you put your mind to.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, there’s plenty to do in the city but I would visit a nice restaurant. One spot I like is Nakato Japanese near midtown Atlanta. Then, maybe a nice nightlife spot in midtown. The highlands is nice area or even Krog City Market for njce Saturday out for brunch. There’s several places I haven’t tried yet but I plan to try soon.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I dedicate this shoutout to my family and my brand. Both of these go hand and hand. I had the courage to launch my company years ago after a divorce. I didn’t want my three sons to feel or see the impact of physically/financially separating the household.  I originally started in September 2011 with J Victorian Model & Fashion Agency @ www.jvictorianagency.com. Then, later the other names were born.  J Victorian Elite Services LLC, J Victorian Virgin Hair Boutique & J Victorian Business Services LLC. My educational background is healthcare, so I plan to launch a healthcare company in the future. My brand J Victorian Elite Services and my other associated names are the result of my spiritual relationship. Jesus is Victorious = J Victorian. To God be the Glory, I am nothing without him.
