We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenessa Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jenessa, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
Being willing to have the worst – case scenario happen. And realize you’re still alive, opens up possibilities. Yes, you lost everything, but you are capable of re-creating something. So why not keep going?? I don’t be believe in failure or ( giving up ) we don’t only get one chance.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart is that’s you’ll need more than a photo for inspiration. In two, three hours, I look into my clients dreams and desires to create personal and unique designs. I dig deep in to customizing the art for my Customers. I make sure people know how to express themselves by letting their nails be their canvas.

I got to where I am today by staying consistent, willing to grow and building connection with my customers.

No, it wasn’t easy. Nothing is every easy, or everyone would be doing it.

I typically overcome my challenges by correcting what I did wrong in the situation, asking for feedback and not being afraid to try new things.

The lessons that I have learned is are to find beauty in your failures and lessons are design to help elevate.. If you can recognize your mistakes in the lessons and correct them.

I want the world to know small businesses can make big impact too ( you don’t have to start big ) and my brand is bigger then nails. Don’t box me in!!!

The brand seeks to integrate my creative skills into the nail industry. I am focusing on creating art for magazines and the modern day women by adding Faness.- editorial at your fingertips.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would start the evening off with some cocktails at a jazz club or evening bar.. then head to dinner @ one of favorite spots takoi and later end @ spotlight for a vibe.. where we could dance and view art!!
