Meet Jazmine Duke: Leading a product revolution at jD Bath Co

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jazmine Duke and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jazmine, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I started jD Bath Co as my love letter to women. My mission started simply, to create a vagina friendly bath bomb. A Bomb AF bath experience that provides a nourishing experience for the body and all it’s sensitive parts without sacrificing luxury. Non-toxic, organic, vegan, and not the typical ‘brown paper bag’ organic you’re used to. We’re heavy on the luxury experience because non-toxic is luxury. Organic is luxury. You deserve luxury. As jD Bath Co expanded so has our mission. A vagina friendly bath bomb doesn’t mean only for women. It means gentle enough for anybody to bathe in. We took our strict adherence to non-toxic and quality ingredients while keeping luxury at the forefront and developed a whole line of bath care. Luxury bath care for sensitive skin.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
It’s a revolution. My mission is to create a product revolution. jD Bath Co isn’t just another skin and bath care company, we’re here to change this industry. Non-toxic is our norm, not a specialty. Being gentle with the skin and sensitive parts, and only using high quality ingredients is the only way we create products – that’s how it should have always been! Because this is our mission, we sell and manufacture our products. Most companies outsource manufacturing to another company because owning and running your own manufacturing is a huge investment. But our mission is to change this industry and owning manufacturing is what ensures we are a different kind of skincare company.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Whenever I have friends come to Atlanta, I like to take them for lunch at Char Korean Grill in Inman park. After eating at Char, we head down the street and have a glass of wine at Barcelona. Then we head back to my house to relax and smoke hookah on my porch. Later in the evening we get dressed and head for a night cap at Parlor on Peter St. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
G Michelle, the Self Care Therapist, is someone in my circle that I want to shout out! The work she does is important and valuable – she is also just an amazing person.
