We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaylon Teague and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jaylon, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting a business was to of course make money but to turn a talent that I had into a career.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
When starting my business I never really thought much on what set me apart because I was still learning. As time went on I started to learn more and meet more people. I’m most proud of not only just starting a business but learning the business to the point of making this my full time job. I would say I got to where I am today by simply taking action. Everything I thought of that could benefit my business in a positive way or me as a business owner, I jumped right into it. Where I got today isn’t the hardest as far as the work but it takes a different type of dedication to make a lot of money and business be booking for a particular month and turn around the next month and have slim to no business to handle and sales are down. If you can stay dedicated you know things will work out in your favor in due time. Understand the risk of losing and the potential bad days you’ll have. After understanding and having that experience time after time. It taught me to always stay consistent and just be the best you can be. I want the world to know my growth. I’m big on growth because I started my business based off a interest of cameras not the money. It wasn’t like I already did camera work before or had the knowledge. I started from scratch. The day I decided to learn about cameras and the business is the day I made a interest my main priority. I basically taught myself from scratch just from YouTube.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A week long here in Atlanta is a lot of thing a to do but the first place in my opinion to go for food is The Works Atlanta. It’s a newer food eatery with different restaurants inside one big building. It has all types of different food. I’m not big on going to the club or bars but some activities I would recommend would be sandbox vr. It’s a virtual reality facility that has different games for you to play with the vr gear on. Another place I like is Atlantic station. It’s an all in one location. From shopping to entertainment and eatery’s you have everything within a block..

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’ve been doing a lot of work lately and I would have to shout out my friend Bellzshotem. Ever since I met him he’s been like a mentor and he is someone who has the same drive as me.
