We had the good fortune of connecting with Javel Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Javel, what is the most important factor behind your success?
My most important factor behind my success is not only one factor, it’s multiple reasons. I’ve always been consistent and that has aided me so much on my journey, no matter what business you’re involved with this is the single most important factor.
I’ve built a good reputation amongst my clients, we’ve all developed a relationship overtime and that’s something that is important in my industry because they’ll grow with you and continue supporting you.
Another reason for my success is my authenticity and humility, it’s important be professional but not only that we have to also be open to lend a listening ear to our clients..
The last factor that I’ll touch on is getting Advanced education. The more honed your skill set becomes, the better the opportunities you’ll have to move ahead in your career. You can increase your skill set through your own experiences and also by taking Advanced classes.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m not a nail technician that is reserved to one style. I like to branch off and try different things and I think that’s very important in the nail industry. Our clients like to change up their designs especially on holidays when they’ll get themed nails, and it’s great to be able to express my great genes this way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in Orlando so I’d definitely either take you to Universal Studios, Disney or Seaworld because why not? Lol. We could grab a breakfast at a local spot called Kekes and for dinner we could do a steakhouse.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My friend who introduced me to start doing nails. She one of the best natural hair/loc techs in our Area-Natural Bounty Hair Care. She was a great mentor in starting my journey and I’ve never looked back since.
