We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason Severino and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jason, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
We’ve committed to offering better prices and personalized services to our community since we began over ten years ago. Our customers are happy to tell their friends and family members that they were able to save money and have a patient, personalized experience instead of feeling rushed at the expensive repair centers and stuck with the big box store prices. Saving our customers money and providing quick and custom solutions has been a major selling point for us, as well as the “R&D” part of Tspherix which while does in include “Research and Development” includes for our customers “Repair and Design”. We’ve built custom gaming machines for gamers, put together bundles for businesses and offered solutions for small business owners as well as everyday casual PC, Mac and Linux users.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We’re so excited to continue building and experimenting with new creative ways to solve customer problems and deliver interesting resolutions to streamline workflow. It has been an interesting ride with many setbacks along the way financially and emotionally. We really don’t fit the typical labels associated with business. We’ve been a “mobile” repair business for a long time with no real brick and mortar foundation which has been a challenge but that could possibly be changing within the next year or so. Keep an eye out!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Historic downtown Canton is changing so much! This has been one of my favorite areas to explore, watch the sunsets and see the seasons changing. To be honest, I kind of liked how the old area felt before it started being renewed. I’m sure it’ll be gorgeous when it’s complete but there’s a charm to ancient buildings and a little classical ruin. Though, as they say, the only constant is change. I’m not sure who “they” are but they said it- so do I. Atlanta is expanding very quickly. The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta – in Woodstock, minutes from Canton, is an area I expect to see tremendous growth and opportunity as well. I’ve enjoyed meeting new people in the area and cherish the stories they share. To be honest, that’s about as South I like to go!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shoutout to Hickory Flat and the Canton area customers for making what we do possible. Your outreach and sharing of our services has helped us to grow and we look forward to growing more!
