We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason Pierre and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jason, how do you think about risk?
Taking risk made me discover the world, helped me build my career ( which I’m still building ), met some great people. I’m from Montréal Canada and the food scene in summer is pretty amazing, but come summer things get cold and restauration takes a hit. Seeing the possibilities in Miami to bring my brand to another level made the decision to move to Miami easier.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am in the Food & Beverage business, in 2019 when covid hit us, I made the decision to work full time in my catering company. To stand out from other chefs in Montreal, where I’m from, I worked on several different recipes and presented them to the public for feedback. I came up with this fry chicken recipe, a spicy honey mustard and a sweet and spicy glaze which made the headlines. I decided to continue in this direction, reinvent my brand and push my fried chicken to the public. It wasn’t easy! above all to try to do everything alone and to remain consistent. Being able to help people or just put a smile on their face with my food is priceless! The main goal is to have an empire in the Food & Beverage business that will also help people around me. Have a foundation that can also provide food to people in need, help schools around the world and so much more.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Jouvens Jean!! this man made a lot of it possible for me. He’s a Miami base celebrity chef, author, who has entered numerous food network contests. Thanks to a mutual friend, we met in Montréal and clicked right away! He saw something in me and wanted me to be part of his team ( JeanCo Food Concept LLC ) and eventually build an empire in Miami.
