We had the good fortune of connecting with jason minor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi jason, why did you pursue a creative career?
It merely was my calling and I realized that there was nothing else I would be doing. If you want something bad enough you will see it through

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am one of the only true custom beat makers of the world. I play instruments and Dj as well as proficiency at using software so I can hear what an artist or company needs to fit their sound.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to Dat Fire Jerk on Northside and I would take them to Little Five Points. Go to a Hawks game. Have a good time at Blue Flame and Peters street for some good entertainment.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
One thing I want to do is shout out Designs by GDS. That’s who decided to partner up with me and design my brand and push me as a entity. All I had to do was have a website and Gayle offered to help with my movement so shout out to her and her company for believing in me.
