We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Mota AKA (Jaibella) and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jasmine, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
Professionally I plan on franchising my salon brand, ultimately owning successful salon locations in many different states. I plan to open a financially free cosmetology school for aspiring entrepreneurs in the beauty industry. I will own several Hand Car wash facilities; I will have several real estate properties and will launch more hair care products. Professionally the sky is the limit with my continued support system, strategies and constant goals. The ultimate goal is to prepare for retirement and to make sure that my businesses provide residual income to ensure that I won’t have to work hard my entire life. I work hard now to ensure that my future will be relaxing and full of enjoyment. I plan to create generational wealth to leave to my offspring and to their offspring.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a Black Owned CEO in the hair industry, I been doing hair since the age of 12, I am what you call a Jane of all trades. My name is Jasmine Mota, I’m a Miami Native, born and raised. I currently reside in Georgia, and I am well known as JaiBella. I am currently managing several businesses at one time. I am a Turo Partner, I own a Car Wash business and I am also working on investment properties. My passion is hair; I am at my happiest when I am servicing my clients and dealing with the public. The unique part of my company is that each experience is personalized, insightful and completely professional. My talents are always implemented in my services with each client, I am huge on customer service and client satisfaction. My salon offers an array of services; all things Beauty is my mission. We offer waxing, Nails, Lashes, Hair, Barber services, Co-ed Facials, bundles, closures, frontals for sale you need it? we have it. I also have hookahs & drinks available to my clients to help relax and unwine. On this path and journey, I’ve maintained my faith and grind which helped me achieve all that I currently have, the road wasn’t easy, but it was and is truly rewarding. I had to learn what I was passionate about and I gave it my all! I couldn’t make this business a second priority or a plan B, because for years I did that and found out that my success would only be attainable if I had the courage to step out on faith and accomplish my goals. I learned through valuable lessons that business is only as good as you make it, and support isn’t as easy to come by. You must put your business first as top priority behind GOD, and your children. Make your business your baby and your reasons as to why and you will conquer all things pertaining to your business. You have to want it as much as you need the breath in your body and be willing to work long and hard hours. Being a CEO is definitely rewarding and promising, most important part of it all is that I am teaching my son about Business through my experiences. Making my young King proud is all a mom could ask for.

I want to thank Voyage Atl for this wonderful opportunity to shed light on the many hidden gems around Atlanta and the surrounding areas.
Dare to be your TRUE you—JAIBella
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spot in Atlanta right now is definitely Pasha. I love the good food, the ambiance, the hookah, the music and the vibe. If my friend were to visit GA I would take her to Atlanta breakfast club for breakfast, Milk & honey and the Highland Bakery. We would go to midtown to hit the vibe, I would take her to Pasha , Club Allure, Blue Lagoon and Republic after hours lounge. We would chill at Piedmont Park during the day and find a pool party and a barbecue to kick back and relax. I would also stop through Rock Steady and get some drinks and a bite to eat while listening to great music. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The hero in my life would definitely be my mom, because of her I am the woman I am today. My mom was and still is a phenomenal being, all my thanks go to the most courageous woman I know. She taught me how to grind and get out and get whatever I want in life. I watched my mom be an example of a respectable, strong, independent woman, which in turn taught me to respect myself and to know my worth. My mom always challenged me to be at my greatest, and to never settle for less. She showed me that the sky was my limit, success is attainable through dedication and successful planning.
