We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jasmine, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
“C’est la vie” resonates with me because it’s a reminder to accept life’s twists and turns with grace and resilience. I appreciate its simplicity in acknowledging that not everything will go according to plan, but that’s just part of the journey. It encourages me to embrace both the joys and challenges that life brings and to keep moving forward with a positive mindset.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At REP Publishing, we’re all about offering top-notch creative services that truly make a difference for our clients. Our team is a blend of dedicated design experts and marketing professionals, all working together to provide personalized solutions that help brands shine. What sets us apart is our commitment to understanding our clients’ needs and delivering innovative strategies that amplify their visibility and performance.
As Senior Vice President of Public Relations, my role is to be the strategic partner for our clients. I bring a diverse background spanning over 15 years in Luxury Retail Management and Project Management, with pivotal roles at brands like Gucci, Chanel, Michael Kors, and Giorgio Armani. This experience has equipped me with a unique perspective on how to connect brands with their consumers effectively.
One of the highlights of my career was joining Delta Airlines in 2018 for the launch of their redesign collaboration with fashion designer Zac Posen. It was a high-anticipated project that required meticulous planning and execution, and it really demonstrated my ability to deliver exceptional results.
More recently, in 2022, I joined Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where I oversaw projects on student retention and program engagement, further expanding my expertise in creating compelling narratives.
Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy. The journey has been filled with challenges, but each one was a learning opportunity. From navigating tight deadlines to managing complex projects, perseverance and adaptability have been key. The most important lesson I’ve learned is the value of building strong, authentic relationships. Whether it’s with clients, colleagues, or media contacts, genuine connections are the foundation of success in this industry.
I’m incredibly proud of the project launch at REP Publishing in partnership with visionary icon Robert Ector. It’s a testament to our team’s creativity and strategic insight. At REP, we go beyond just providing services; we aim to be an integral part of our clients’ growth and success, bringing a sprinkle of creativity and a whole lot of heart to everything we do.
What I want the world to know about REP Publishing is that we’re not just another PR firm. We are a full creative house handling all aspects of production. We are a team of passionate storytellers, committed to making a meaningful difference for our clients. Our mission is to elevate brands and create lasting impressions, one project at a time.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were coming to Atlanta for a week, I’d make sure we have a good mix of adventure, relaxation, and a whole lot eating!
We’d kick things off with brunch at Flying Biscuit Cafe, followed by a chilled walk on the BeltLine, and finish the with dinner at South City Kitchen and drinks at The Roof at Ponce City Market.
The next day, we’d head to the APEX Museum and the High Museum of Art, ending the night with a show at the Fox Theatre.
On the third day, we’d get a little more adventurous with climbing Stone Mountain, and dinner at Two Urban Licks.
Day four would be all about shopping in Buckhead, with lunch around Lenox Square Mall (maybe BucketShop because I love their wings) and dinner at Canoe. Now just for a change of scenery, we’d definitely take a day trip to Savannah, take a dessert walking tour, Walk Jones Street, and walk the River Street.
Back in Atlanta, we’d start day six with breakfast at Ria’s Bluebird, swing by MLK house and spend dinner at Ecco and music at The Tabernacle.
Finally, on the last day, we’d visit the Atlanta Botanical Garden, lunch at Krog Street Market, dinner at Staplehouse, ending the night with a drink at Kimball House.
Atlanta is full of dope places, and this itinerary is a perfect mix of culture, adventure, relaxation, and food!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Well a few Special shoutouts actually: To my parents, whose endless support and belief in my career. Their encouragement has kept me going through thick and thin. And to my twin daughters, whose simple presence fills me with motivation and purpose, even on the toughest days. Robert Ector, your belief in my professional strengths has been a driving force behind my success. Thank you for your support and mentorship.
