We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Dix and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jasmine, every day, we hear about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I’m just a girl that started out with some flour, oil, & eggs and turned my dream into reality.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m always excited about making cakes I’ve never made before. I think what’s sets me apart from others is once you contact me I go right into brainstorming mode. My creative juices start flowing and my main objective is to WOW you with the finished product. I’ve had to overcome many obstacles this past year has been very challenging. I started culinary arts school at the Art Institute of Atlanta but due to the pandemic had to put that on hold balancing full time student, home schooling, working & mom duties it became to overwhelming. I want the world to know Jassy’s Sweet Treats, LLC is not just another ordinary bake shop I won’t stop until I’m a regular household name
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Umm let’s see I would have to say I would take the to sky view Atlanta so the could enjoy the view of the city. I would then take them to Cique, Benihana or Pappadeaux to eat
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate this to my children (Kameron, Carlos, King & Cailee) y’all give me that extra drive to keep pushing giving up is not an option
