We had the good fortune of connecting with Jarrell A. Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jarrell A., what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my ability to identify my “why” and deploy my “will”. Before I begin any endeavor I ask myself, “will the outcome positively impact my stakeholders (family, team, consumers)?”. I am selfless to a default and once I am passionate about something, I commit 100%.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

So, I just completed my Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship from Herzing University on April 27th, where I graduated Suma Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA!

Upon completion of my degree, I’ve had the opportunity to fully commit to building and raising capital for my newly founded exclusively Vegan dating app @Meet_VeganBae ! I am super excited and passionate about this venture, because it services an exponentially growing market and it is a part of such a positive movement.

I also Co-Founded @Sweetellies_atl, a Vegan Soft Serve Ice Cream bar. So I am quite productive these days!

As a 36 year old Father, Husband, Entrepreneur and now, first time college graduate from St. Louis, Mo, I have realized how imperative having a strong support system, clear visions, and goals are to achieving success.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I have always loved the energy on the Belt Line. Avalon (met Marlon Jackson “Jackson 5” there), Little Five Points, and Piedmont Park. For my fellow Vegans, Revolution Donuts, Dulce Vegan, Slutty Vegan, Harmony, Faux Real Burger, and Chi Chi Vegan. I recommend Tim Furlow for Tattoos.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate a Shoutout to my Wife, Antoinette. She has been my chief source of support in every way possible. My Mother and Mother-in-Law, for always being prepared to help, even at a moments notice. My son Jayden and daughter Aubree for being my motivation to keep going. Lastly, Herzing University for taking a chance and accepting me when no other institution would.
