Hi Jamela, how do you define success?
Great question! I believe success can be defined in various ways depending on who you are talking to. I define success as being able to fulfill your life purpose. We all have goals that we want to accomplish in order to be fulfilled in life. The ability to wake up everyday and make a step towards your goals is satisfying in itself. Even if I can not achieve every goal I set out to accomplish, the greatest effort towards it still makes me feel successful because I was not afraid to try. I believe success is a combination of your thought process + the goal + your effort divided by your support system which equals your success and fulfillment. Win or lose, there is always going to be value and that is success to me!

Accessories By JJ LLC combines the luxury and elegance of the West African culture to help others embrace their true beauty with cultural, elegant, stylish jewelry, apparel, and accessories. Accessories By JJ LLC is unique because we provide an experience to others that not only changes how a person feels about their confidence level but changes people’s perception of the world around them through our travel experiences and new travel group for individuals that are interested in visiting Africa. We pride ourselves in providing an experience to all our customers. We view our customers as our community of friends. We showed people how beautiful they are in cultural attire and how a simple outfit can boost your overall confidence! As a brand, we are proud of the relationships and influence we have in Atlanta and are excited to expand nationwide.

As I was growing the Accessories By JJ brand, I believed that in order for the business to grow that I had to believe in it whole heartedly. Its like a plant, if you do not water it, it will not grow. I exercised diligent efforts and patience. I was not afraid to invest in myself. I took some loses in the process but I continued to keep a positive mindset and reviewed my errors to aid me in my growth. We are always growing but one thing I learned is to always maintain my integrity in everything I do.

We want to encourage people who are on a journey to becoming a better person, whether it is through your weight loss journey for a more healthier lifestyle, through self care which will involves taking care of your mental and physical health by providing encouragement and resources to you to build your level of self efficacy, physical and mental health. We are passionate about well being, self growth, world knowledge, and healthy lifestyle experiences. We want you to cherish and give meaning to our hand made goods as it was made with historical integrity by the people of the motherland.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, my friends come visit Atlanta all the time. As a travel consultant, I love to host people while they are in my city, so this is right up my lane. I would definitely give them the JJ experience by taking them to good places to eat, chill, party, or just kick back and vibe. Here are some places that I have visited and would recommend:
