Meet Jaketta Harris | Holistic Wellness Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaketta Harris and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jaketta, what do you want people to remember about you?
My legacy will be to help each person I touch with my business to see, feel, and know their beauty from within. Their beauty as a whole being. To help them be their unique self unapologetically and always walk with their head held high and crown on straight. Whether it be through my products, services, conversation, or visual representation through my own life story. I want to help anyone who comes in my path to love and admire themselves and every aspect that made them who they are. Mind, Body, and Spirit.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I created Elemental Goddess in 2018/2019 to first assist with a topic near to my heart at the time which was infertility issues. I have since grown beyond infertility to add skincare products, doula services, releasing my first book this year, and plan to become a licensed esthetician this year! Entrepreneurship is not at all easy and I have been hit several times in my business. I am the proudest of my tenacity through those setbacks. I still wake up everyday knowing my business is needed and that it will help millions. I am proud to be here still learning, still growing, and still willing. I will not give up on my passion to help.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Brunch would definitely be in the mix!! Over the summer I would go to a brunch on Sunday’s called “Melanin and Mimosa’s.”Great vibe and atmosphere! Anywhere in the city that has live music and great drinks such as Plum Bar and Lit on 8th just to name a couple. And we absolutely can’t sleep on the food trucks in Birmingham right now!! So many amazing people doing their thing! It’s never hard to find a good time in the city!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Whew!! So many have inspired me on my journey! Stacey Kimber is definitely my mentor in my head but she is my friend in real life. Her drive and hustle is motivating daily! My sister in love Alaina Ullman whose knowledge just leaves me in awe every time we speak. My girl Tysha Green whose creativity in unmatched! And every entrepreneur on my social networks who get up every single day with a dream and ambition! And of course my mama who has been my biggest customer since day one!
