We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaiden Patterson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jaiden, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my business is staying humble while still knowing my worth. The success of my brand matters a lot to me simply because I am a beauty provider and I base my success on my clients’ reactions when they see their fresh set of lashes, and also the returning clients that I have. Being able to see the excitement on their faces and making them feel beautiful really warms my heart.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business, J’Allure Beauty LLC was founded in February of 2020 formally known as “Lash Luv By Jai”. I specialize in eyelash extensions and plan on expanding my craft once I graduate high school in May 2022. I started doing lashes when I was 16, I was going on a trip and the opportunity to get my lashes done was presented to me, at the time, I knew nothing about eyelash extensions. As I was getting my lashes done, a conversation with my lash tech really inspired me as I was looking to start my own business but simply did not know what I wanted to do just yet. Right then and there, I knew I wanted to be a lash technician. Fast forward, to about two weeks later after my trip, my mom signed me up for a lash class and from there I excelled! At the time of starting my business, my age is what set me apart because I was younger than most lash techs. I am very proud of my growth, looking back at where I started and where I am currently, really warms my heart because I am able to see how I progressed with time. Getting to this point was not easy, there were days when I was very discouraged and wanted to give up, but on days like that, I would go back and look at my progress to see how far I’ve come.
