We had the good fortune of connecting with Jae.P and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jae.P, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
In the beginning, my love of music came from the overwhelming feeling of euphoria. The instruments, the vibration of the speakers, but most importantly the words dance with my heart. That love grew into a realization, one that I’ve took time to make sure was as unbiased as possible. I have an incomparable artistry. One of which I bring to everything I do. One of my aliases is The Saint, a name that’s literally on my birth certificate. I have to spread that same euphoria to the world.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Intellect. Passion. Pain.

I feed off of creating that separation between other artists and myself.
You can’t rap with me. I’m Ali tell Kirk punch me in. It’s purely verbal sport. No one can do what I do. My voice is universal. There’s no beat I won’t rip. No hook that’s not tough.

My struggles in getting where I want to be come from lack of exposure. To be completely honest rap was always second to me because I was such a smart kid. I had to want to be a doctor, I didn’t make a B until 12th grade. Those who truly know me, know I’ve always been one of the better artists. However, it was that time away where I gained so much knowledge to mold me into a seasoned vet before I even step into the game.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Atlanta is full of every vibe anyone could ever think of. I’d take my friends to a rooftop day party, Afterwards, we’d go to the waterfall on a drunk nature walk. Then, I’d have to take them to the best production studio in Atlanta, Classic Film Studios, we can explore their creative side. Shoot some photos, videos, podcasts, it’s no limit to the things you can do there. At the end of the night we’d have to make our way to the beat studio in Atlanta. ATLHD and make some classic hits !
