We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacobi Dolphin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jacobi, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is persistence. Starting a new career, mastering a new skill, entrepreneurship none of it is easy. In the beginning, I struggled, however I was persistent. I was firm in my decision to become a successful lash artist. That persistence allowed me to work through those difficult times to achieve my goal. Persistence has also allowed me to elevate in my career. Today, i Lash + Brow offers lash services, lash supplies and lash training.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
i Lash + Brow provides luxury lash services in Midtown Atlanta, specializing in Classic, Hybrid and Volume lashes. Every Sunday we offer one-on-one lash training helping aspiring lash artist become certified and helping existing lash artist elevate their artistry. Last but not least we have a full line of lash supplies that include, lash extensions, primer, bonder and more…. Our customers love that we offer local in-store pick-up and delivery, which makes running out of lash supplies less stressful. The feedback I get most about i Lash + Brow is, “the quality is top tier!” We pride ourselves in creating beautiful lashes, using quality products and providing excellent customer service, with every client, every time. We have found that running a business offers a multitude of challenges but if you focus on quality work and excellent service it makes things a lot easier.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When friends and family come in town there are few spots that are a must. For a great casual meal full of flavor, we are going to Papi’s on Ponce. I love Superica for their veggie fajitas and margaritas and because I like to eat plant based more often then not we will head over to Tassilis for their one of a kind kale wrap. We would have to visit the rooftop at Ponce City Market and walk the beltline and if they are in the mood for adventure we can climb Stone Mountain! Those are a few of my favorite things.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out my Husband, Jason Dolphin. Before becoming a Lash Artist, I worked in sales. I was unfulfilled and wanted to leave to become an entrepreneur. He encouraged me to follow my dreams, and was in full support of me leaving my job. I’ve had long nights and weekends, moved locations, and he’s always right there believing in me and the vision. He offered the most sincere support when I needed it most and truly deserves a shout out.
