We had the good fortune of connecting with Holli Emory and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Holli, what are you inspired by?
I am inspired by the evolution of humanity. I consider humanity to be on the brink of a new frontier emotionally speaking as we transition from the industrialization era into a new way of being in the world that honors the authentic human spirit which promotes creativity, purpose and global harmony. I believe the previous era is going to serve humanity in exciting new ways. We are learning more about the human spirit and the brain body connection than ever before, a lot of which is directly tied to our emotional selves. Things are shifting and that keeps me intrigued and engaged in the evolutionary process.
What should our readers know about your business?
I help people get excited about their lives again through conscious focused healing through feeling. I have been called forth to guide other’s transition from Emotional Trauma to Emotional Freedom. If we really think about it, everything we do in life is relationship based and the most important relationship we will ever have is the one with ourselves, as it provides the blueprint for all relationships we will have throughout our lives. It is becoming obvious that there is a great need to focus less on how we feel or have been made to feel and more on how it is we want to feel. When we give our attention to how we want to feel vs. how we are told we should feel by the media and various other external influences we can lead empowered lives. There is a great call-to-action that is taking place around the globe for deep intrinsic healing on a cellular level. What’s missing in our society is the tools and resources to do so. I teach my clients a “new” way to think about how they “feel” most importantly how they “want” to feel that alleviates the external chaos and ushers in a more intentionally driven life that is self-lead which provides more peace, purpose, and happiness. Who doesn’t want a more peaceful, purpose filled, happy life?
Sadly, Emotional Trauma has become a global societal norm, however, right now humanity is on the forefront of the leading edge of an emotional evolution. We are coming out of the industrial & emotional dark ages and thanks to the “Pandemic” people were given the opportunity to delve deeper into themselves and the results are still in the process of unfolding. A renewed sense of self and the longing to connect with a greater sense of purpose is what is driving today’s society.
The industrialization of our global society left humanity feeling detached from the one thing that makes us human and that is how we feel. Somehow our well-being became secondary to global development and true enjoyment of life beyond the fragile surface. As complex and tragic as it all sounds it was a necessary piece to allow this present transformation to activate.
How we feel is at the core of who we are and humanity simply will not sustain without the deep connectivity that we all value and desire. The lockdown gave people the chance to reexamine what is most important to them during a time of abundant uncertainty. The old belief systems are crumbling before our eyes as we usher in this new way of being. Value systems have shifted during a time when governments and various other organizations are all vying for our attention, loyalty, and dollars, Not to mention the many divisive measures we all are feeling during this transitional time and now is when many are coming together in separation. We need to be more conscious than ever, not only by looking at ourselves, we need to look at who is leading us with fresh new eyes. This expanded understanding holds the key to humanity’s future and our ability to thrive collectively from a place of interdependence vs. codependency. Advocating for the welfare of all of humanity vs. a select few. Our global community is launching its own call-to-action in which people are wanting inclusion, compassion, and authenticity over division. We do this through education that inspires authentic healing and is amplified the world over. It really is that simple although it will not happen overnight.
We will continue to witness a global pulling away from the previous society model that promotes fear and dependency. People worldwide are seeing with increased clarity what needs to happen. I have the privilege of guiding my clients on the path of authentic healing that opens a collective energetic healing portal to authentic wellness. Authentic wellness from within is the true immunity booster that insulates us from negative environmental influences.
Whether it’s an individual, a couple, a family or an organization we all have Emotional Wounds that we as a Global Community need to prioritize healing. Generational, cultural, political, and religious wounds have an effect on a cellular level and are at the epicenter of where humanity presently is, which is inspiring this massive shift. A shift that has great benefits for humanity.
Without having experienced my own Emotional Evolution I would not be where I am today. I love being able to help others from a place of authentic clarity and healing. The wounds that we carry with us have such an impact on our overall health, experiences, and those we love.
So for me, it began with an inner knowing or a nagging feeling to look closer into self as a means of self-preservation and ultimate self-love. There was the external chaos that I could not control which led me to the inner chaos I was experiencing as a result and that discovery was absolutely something I could control. Change needs to happen although I prefer to call it what it is, which is growth. Change is rarely easy but often necessary, so out of necessity, I began to seek out individuals who had a similar path of growth. This was like a breath of fresh air to me, because in all honesty I wasn’t really breathing in my environment. It was as if I was holding my breath and waiting for some sort of miracle to show up at my door. Well, it did in the form of my inner being, calling me to self-advocate through action. I believe there are millions, billions of people even out there who haven’t taken an authentic breath in decades because they are emotionally locked and blocked with no idea how to free themselves from the emotional tethers that are holding them back.
It was my connection with my mentors and the priceless gifts of knowledge that they bestowed upon me that inspired me to become a mentor. The ability to positively impact and support the growth of another human being is a beautiful gift.
I’ll conclude this section with my adaptation of my favorite Maya Angelou quote “When we know better, we do better” When we do better, we heal better, when we heal better, we live better and when we live better we love better. Isn’t it time we all start doing better? I believe that more healed humans means less harmed humans and we all must live by the mantra to first do no emotional harm, psychological harm, or physical harm. Once we do the deep healing work it becomes next to impossible to cause intentional subconscious or conscious harm to another living thing.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m a little bit of a big city local vibe type of person. Having said that I am a huge lover of live music and the summer time is my favorite for enjoying outdoor concerts. Atlanta has many different live music venues. My personal favorite is Chastain Amphitheater. It has a cozy feel to it and I’ve seen quite a few artists there. Ponce City Market is a cool place to visit as well as the Atlanta Beltline. Atlanta and the surrounding areas have really blossomed in the past decade and there are an abundance of fantastic restaurants with a wide array of cuisines. I have to admit though that some of my favorite places are OTP or outside of the perimeter or Atlanta “proper”. I love the outdoors and being outdoors is my most favorite thing to do. One of my favorite spots is probably 90 minutes from downtown and it’s called The Edge of The World. It’s a local watering hole with one of the most breathtakingly beautiful canyons I’ve ever seen. It’s so very refreshing to the Soul there, you just can’t help but feel good. Most people don’t realize just how beautiful the North Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains are & how much they have to offer in local culture.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
While there are many, I have to recognize first and foremost my Inner Being, without her guidance I would not be where I am right here right now in this beautiful moment. This may sound strange to many because we live in a society that is externally driven by what is happening on the outside of us when the exact opposite is true. There is an abundant need to shift that perspective from external to internal. Life is lived from the inside out and not the other way around as most have been led to believe. It’s imprinted into our subconscious fabric, a fabric that has worn thin in my opinion and needs tending to. It was me tuning into my Soul’s frequency and not by choice, although yes ultimately I had a choice to keep ignoring me and what my Inner Being was communicating to me, calling for me to take action, however, at what cost? Could I afford to continue to remain in a state of ignorance & detachment from the truth of who I am, a dynamic ever evolving being? For me the answer was that there was only one choice. It was a resounding NO that reverberated through every cell of who I was on my way to becoming. It was something I had to do, I had to choose myself. That is not to slight anyone who has been an integral part of my own Soul’s evolution and there were many, good and not so good that contributed, however, the reality was everything I was experiencing was leading me back to me and I wanted to embrace it for all of it’s wonder that lay ahead, not only did I do just that I continue to do so daily.
