We had the good fortune of connecting with Hellen Tsibu and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hellen, what do you attribute your success to?
Leading with God. Allowing God to take control of my business and my life. Making him the CEO of my business. Man, without God none of this would be possible. And also having faith & knowing that things will work out. It is hard, so so hard, but God gives us strength and he will see it through. I realized, he gave me this idea for a reason, and so why would he let me fail? Once I realized this and let it sink in, my business has been thriving ever since. And days where I feel defeated, I go to God and just sit in his presence and allow him to fill me up with positivity, and reassurances. Stepped out the way, and allowed God to take over my whole being. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. When you have God, and actually believe in Him and have FAITH & know that things will ALWAYS WORK OUT on his timing and not yours, you will achieve everything your heart desires. You have to have patience, and just wait on God, do the work and allow him to finish for you.
 

What should our readers know about your business?
I am passionate and care deeply for others. I create all-natural products to grow back your hair and take care of your scalp. I also show others how to make it, and I am grateful; I get so excited when they send me their results because I just want to bring joy into people’s lives and continue to heal the world through my products. No, it was not easy. Man it was hard, it’s been a journey, but I learned to embrace it all and enjoy this journey. Because it is a journey and not a race, keep your eyes on your own journey and nobody else’s. I think the hardest part is not comparing yourself to other entrepreneurs who are on the same business as you, because there maybe some days where sales are slow, but others are getting sales, and you’re wondering is this even the right path for me? Yes it is, allow yourself to feel and know that in the end, God gave you this purpose, he will see it through with you. It will be hard, but he will give you strength to push through. I overcome challenges by taking a break, and literally just being in God’s presences. We all need someone to fall on, and who’s better than the big guy upstairs? He’s been my safe haven, my rock, and my sanctuary. I want the world to know that when you’re in our presences, you’re going to be taking well care of. It’s not just about these products, we also come with life advice, pouring life and light into you and just growing with you through this journey. It is all positive, all love, all kindness, and abundance here at SKYN FLUENT. I am most proud and excited to see how God Will continue to bless us in this season, so I am going to Thank Him in Advance.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am honestly a homebody, I barely go out. lol but I would say being that I am from New York City, i would most Deff take them to a nice vegan restaurant in Brooklyn; like I said I don’t go out much, lol but I know they have some nice spots in Brooklyn, so we would go there and have a blast.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Man, honestly all my shoutout goes to God. He legit saved me, he renewed my mind, my whole body. He’s made me the woman I am today and without him, none of this would be possible. I have my family and friends that are also so happy for my success but man I have to go back to God because without him, I honestly do not know where I’d be. He deserves all the recognition and all the credit.
