Today we’re excited to be connecting with Hala Yassine again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.

Hala, we are so thrilled to be connecting again and can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to. Before we jump into all of that, some of our readers might have missed our prior interview, so can you take a moment to reintroduce yourself?
My name is Hala Yassine and I am co-owner of Seven Sisters Scones and Seven Sisters Kitchen. Seven Sisters Scones is a specialty food e-commerce company with a cafe named under Seven Sisters Kitchen. Before you ask, yes, there really are seven sisters. We offer breakfast and lunch at our cafe and ship our goodies and treats nationwide under Seven Sister Scones.

Alright, so our main goal today is to give our audience an update on what you have been up to since our last conversation. We’d love to hear how things are going and what you are most looking forward to or excited about these days.
We continue to grow our e-commerce business and now have additional seating in our cafe! We’re proud to be part of the vibrant growth of Johns Creek. We also will be launching a take and bake product in grocery stores mid-2025. Stay tuned!

Alright, so let’s do something a bit more fast-paced and lighthearted. We call this our lightning round and we’ll ask you a few quick questions.

Life is often about tough choices – can you talk to us about your thought process, strategy or philosophy when it comes to making difficult choices or tradeoffs.
My main philosophy is that everything can be figured out. When we were approached about doing QVC, it seemed insurmountable. A small bakery doing 25,000 scones in 4 days? Not possible. But, we sat down and looked at our process. We called friends. We figured it out. And I think it set us up for a lot of growth in the future. Jump, you’ll figure out how to fly.
