We had the good fortune of connecting with Grace Aldridge and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Grace, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
I’m diligent about structure, format, punctuality and routine. These characteristics make me a natural planner, chaos preventer and handler, organizer and delegator. I am also a note-taker and calendar keeper which goes hand in hand with staying on top of details, follow ups and due dates.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am the creative type but not necessarily in art as most people may think of it. I see life as a form of art, the journey that is ever changing to figure out who we are, what we want, how we can serve and how we can reach our potential is a messy yet beautiful art project. I’m not one to go with the flow and I’m not one to sit back if somethings not right for us. I’ve learned that not settling isn’t a bad thing but it isn’t an easy one either. Not settling means you are constantly working towards improvement and pushing yourself (and others) to learn, grow towards your best. Not settling also is an honor to yourself; by always evaluating and growing you grant yourself the journey of happiness, wellness and personal success that you deserve.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, we live in a pretty rural area on a family run ranch and farm. Personally, I think it’s pretty fun here so we’d probably plan to stay here, relax, work, play and just enjoy time spent together!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family for sure. For supporting me, catching me when I fall, loving me even when I’m hard to love, walking alongside me as I bend and stretch myself to be the best I can. For emotional, mental, financial support during the times I need it most. For helping to pull the weight when I’m not sure I can anymore and for the hugs that come out of nowhere from my kids and husband that remind me we are in this life together.
