We had the good fortune of connecting with Giovanni Gonzalez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Giovanni, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The first book that made an impact in terms of whether to have a business or work for a company was “Reach dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki. That short but captivating story laid the foundation to understand the world of an entrepreneur and the one of an employee in a very stimulating way. In a nutshell, from that book I got that an entrepreneur takes on many risks but most importantly there is no ceiling to one’s financial growth.
Since I know myself, I’ve always been a calculated risk taker. I’ve always felt the need to have some kind of risk in my life to make me feel alive and I feel that entrepreneurship is the safest risk a person can take.
It is true that you can lose everything you’ve build if you don’t make the right moves. However, I’ve noticed that no matter what I do. The risk of losing everything is as safe for an entrepreneur, as it is for an employee. I don’t see much difference.

You can get fired from one month to the next or you can go bankrupt from one month to the next. Either way you need to get back up and create the next chapter of your life.

However, the day I chose my purpose in life. It didn’t matter whether I worked for someone or I had my own business. It became about how to best service my clients. It became about becoming better at serving others. That philosophy led me to a place in my career were the next chapter was to create a business around my purpose in life to serve my clients and find other people to serve along with me.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am a terrible host. I don’t plan fun activities and only make sure that I have fun wherever I am invited or wherever I go. But I do love Cancun, Cartagena, Bahamas, London, South Beach and everything about New York and Atlanta. I love home and Atlanta is home.
