Hi Giona, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Jornae is devoted to enriching the communities daily life through self-care. As a luxury self-care brand we help women believe in the necessity of prioritizing oneself and starting their self care journey . We are committed to embracing women of all shapes and sizes. We create body care products that not only smell good but helps anyone with dry skin stay moisturized throughout the day . We want to remind our audience that every day, you come first. “I want women to take their time with themselves and pour into their cup first.”

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Unlike others just selling a product, my brand sells a lifestyle and relays a message . I’ve been in the entrepreneur industry since high school, anything you can think of , I was selling it . I’ve always had a BOSS mindset, I just never knew what I wanted to sell. The journey has not been easy because I was going through a terrible breakup in the beginning and doing everything alone. Having a daughter made me stronger and made me work even harder to get my business to where it needs to be . I want the world to know that self-care is a necessity for all. My passion for knowing more about the different aspects of self-care allowed me to develop a stronger sense of what self-love truly represents. I aspired to build a brand that further conveys a strong message about personal care and how it betters all aspects of your life. It’s easy to lose direction when you are not confident in yourself,

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take her to slingshot hands down ! It’s an adult arcade spot in Atlanta where you can eat , drink , play games , and bowl . I see it as an all in one outing. Your 3rd Spot is also a place I would have to take my bestfriend for the aesthetic , Although it’s always crowded it’s a great place to take cute pictures for Instagram and they have good food .

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shoutout 2 important people. my 2 year old daughter Londyn Amor . She was the reason I started my brand . Having to go through postpartum depression and losing myself after having her motivated me to find myself again and show her the best version of me. Secondly my mentor Tre. He is not only there for me for business advice, but also my personal life . He has taught me a lot and introduced me to a lot of opportunities that I’m forever grateful for.
