We had the good fortune of connecting with Georgia Hudson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Georgia, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I decided to start my business, I wanted to create something that reflected my personal passions and values, while also addressing real needs I saw in the community. Travel has always been something I love—it’s more than just a hobby for me; it’s a way to explore the world, experience new cultures, and enjoy life. I wanted to offer people the opportunity to do the same, whether it’s a dream vacation or just getting away for a weekend.

At the same time, I realized that financial stability and freedom are key to being able to enjoy those experiences. Many people struggle with managing their credit, taxes, or overall financial situation, which can limit their ability to live fully. That’s where credit repair, tax services, and financial education come in. I see them as tools to empower people, to help them remove obstacles that stand in the way of their goals, whether that’s owning a home, starting a business, or simply having the means to travel.

By combining these services—credit repair, taxes, and travel bookings—I felt I could create a holistic business that not only solves practical problems but also helps people achieve their dreams of financial freedom and exploration. For me, it’s all about helping others live their best lives, both financially and personally.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Bucket List Consulting, we offer a variety of services that make life’s complexities simpler—whether it’s booking that dream vacation, repairing credit to achieve financial goals, handling taxes, or offering notary services. What sets us apart is our personal touch and dedication to our clients’ success. Each service we provide is a step toward helping someone achieve their personal or financial bucket list.

The journey to building this business wasn’t easy. It required a lot of learning, adapting, and perseverance, but I’ve always been passionate about helping people. Whether it was navigating financial hardships or planning life-changing experiences, I wanted to offer services that genuinely make a difference in people’s lives. Overcoming challenges has always been about staying resilient and keeping the focus on the impact we have on others.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned along the way is that success isn’t just about numbers or growth—it’s about the relationships you build with your clients. Trust, loyalty, and transparency have been cornerstones of our success.

What I want the world to know about Bucket List Consulting is that we are not just a service provider—we’re your partner in achieving your goals. Whether it’s fixing credit to buy that first home, planning a family getaway, or tackling tax season with confidence, we’re here to help every step of the way.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I wouldn’t be where I am today without the love and support of my family. To my mom and dad, thank you for instilling in me the values of hard work, perseverance, and unconditional love. You both set the foundation for everything I’ve achieved. To my kids, you are my daily motivation, the reason I push forward through every challenge, and the greatest blessing in my life. And to my husband, my backbone, thank you for always standing by my side, lifting me up, and being my rock through thick and thin. I am so grateful for each of you, and everything I do is a reflection of the love and strength you’ve given me.
