We had the good fortune of connecting with Gary Edwards and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gary, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
A lot of us weren’t taught financial literacy while growing up. My business help increase the importance of financial knowledge, so people can have a better navigation of their financial futures, make smarter spending choices and using credit wisely. My goal is to have families build generational wealth, break generational curses and help them regain their ability to have their buying power back.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I work with United Wealth Education and we spread financial literacy to people who are in need of getting their credit score increased. We strive to eliminate the burden of financial uncertainty, while creating a plan of action and peace of mind for the future. We offer 13 services that are all included in our United Credit Education Services Protection Plan. From credit restoration, identity monitoring, will and trust just to name a few. I was in need of increasing my credit score and a family member introduced me to this program. It’s been a great experience to see the success that our services has given to others and it’s been rewarding to help people get out of similar financial situations that I once was in. The lessons I’ve learned along the way is a lot of people are stuck in their old ways, and it’s because of this, is why many people are in a position in life they don’t want to be in financially. It is up to us in our company, to paint the vision for them, that there is a road towards financial freedom and we will be there for them every step of the way.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank my mentor’s Jamaal Payne and Darryl Callum. They’ve been the key to introducing me to the platform we’re apart of and helping my business grow. Without them, it would’ve been a much more difficult road to take in order to achieve my goals and to be on the right path towards financial freedom.
