We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabrielle Stubbs and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabrielle, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was simple, I wanted my kids to know and see through hard work you can build something that’s yours, and that no man or woman can take away! It was realized early on in my life that entrepreneurship was my destination! I remember being in trouble as a teenager in middle school for selling the Jeezy Snowman t-shirts! Looking back, that probably wasn’t the best product to be selling, however it showed me that I was a leader, a go getter, persistent, and wanted my own! Moving forward, I am now a Licensed Georgia Realtor with Petra Realty, Inc. Those same values I held in middle school have doubled and allowed me to start a business that not only allows for me to build an empire for my family, but to assist other families in my community to build generational wealth for theirs as well!

What should our readers know about your business?
I am an independent Realtor with Petra Realty,Inc., based out of Snellville, GA. I am a fairly new Realtor, but I am not new to entrepreneurship nor the service industry! Although there are a million other agents in Georgia, I am making my own lane by bringing my dedication, superb customer service, expert negotiating skills, and my ability to think outside of the box in this current market to the industry! I am thoroughly enjoying this journey of learning every aspect of real estate, even on the days when the deals seem to be in flames! That’s when my ability to excel under pressure is really apparent! I am so excited to continue to reach every goal in this industry that I have set for myself! It’s never, easy, he never said it would be, but I am for sure an overcomer and over achiever, and my diligence to having faith but also putting in the work will allow me to continue to navigate this thing! The mission of my brand is simply to assist every individual or family to create generational wealth through real estate. The goal is to provide a luxurious experience from beginning to end no matter the price point. Investing in real estate is a pretty big deal and often times one of the biggest investments one would make, and my promise is to make that process as seamless as possible while also catering to your needs/wants as you watch your vision unfold!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So my best friend and I have been apart of one another’s life for 20 years plus at this point, so there is no telling what we would get into! However, to keep it cute, I am definitely the laid back foodie type, but a hookah must be involved! Yes, the hookah has me in a chokehold! Visiting spots such as Ponce City Market and The Beltline would definitely be a must!! I absolutely love to brunch as well, and Atlanta has the best brunch spots in my opinion, literally too many to name! I’ve also found an interest in the art of Cigars. Stanley’s Cigar Lounge is a honorable mention, and is owned by a Black Female may I add! I definitely enjoy the vibe there, and rather you are a cigar smoker or not, it’s definitely a great atmosphere! I was introduced to Stanley’s and the cigar world by another Black Female Businessowner, Von of LVDlifestyle.com!

My Associate Broker, Kathy Wilson, definitely deserves an honorable mention, as her dedication to assist in developing me into the Realtor and brand that I desire to be has been impeccable and greatly appreciated! Then, there is my significant other Yamata and my family that has always been so supportive of my business endeavors and it never goes unnoticed! I’m a very lucky woman and I give God all the glory for that!
