We had the good fortune of connecting with Francois Cunningham and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Francois, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
There needed to be a multi media company that specializes in unique content. Also I wanted to have a hand in what inspires people to create and live uniquely.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have spent many years in the music world, making albums, mixing music, mixing live sound etc.. However as I got more into the visual world, I began to build rigs and expand in experimental media. This led me to doing concert visuals, music videos, promotion ads. etc… I built grandcois for the purpose of having very unique content creations for all kinds of media, including tangible media. We have set up plenty of installations, 3D printed models for installation, building stages out for videos and concerts, and so much more. I could say more, but there is a lot to uncover

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First off, welcome to the A

I see you in town for the week and you want an adventure.

Well on Monday we can hit up some dope lunch spots in cabbage town, or we can hit Buford highway for the authentic foods. After that we can hit Controllerise at Monday night garage to kick it with some artsy folks. If you enjoy comedy, there is comedy night at starbar in little five points.

On Tuesday we can head over to the beltline during lunch hour to peep the scene. After relaxing on the beltline, we head over to Town Decatur to check out dinner options. There we can check out the record shop, and other little boutiques.

On Wednesday, we check out the high museum of art in midtown. Later that evening there will be DJ’s and kinds of festivities. If that doesn’t move us, there are plenty of great spots to dance and mingle in east Atlanta village. There is also an event of producers that happens at thinking mans tavern. great music and cool vibes

Thursday can be a toss up. There are plenty of art gallery’s showing around Atlanta during the day. Also there are plenty of great day brunch spots in the highlands. Night time on Thursday is when the weekend starts ramping up. Plenty of vintage clothing pop ups, and art pop ups in various places in Atlanta.

Friday Saturday will have brunch deals at so many resturants, people are out everywhere, and everywhere is popping. Just about every venue has a show, people are sharing art left and right. So we can go anywhere to have a blast

Sunday Chill day.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Gauspel who is my team member at Grandcois, llc. Considering his work ethic and 3D design skills, he has really shaken up the 3D universe. Honestly the entire Atlanta creative scene deserves so much credit. I could go on about all the names and events that have put a lot of things on the map.
