We had the good fortune of connecting with Felicia Tucker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Felicia, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I suffered with horrible menstrual cramps caused by fibroids and uterine polyps. After years of pain and discomfort with little to no help from pharmaceuticals , I started searching for an alternative to drugs or medicine. That’s when I was introduced to V Steaming through a groupon purchase that changed my life and the life of the thousands of women my company has been able to help. V Steaming is , a traditional method used by her grandmother from our hometown of Kingston, Jamaica and one that was previously used by me after childbirth, when I lived in Jamaica .

After my V Steam experience and the relief I felt once my cycle came around, I knew I wanted to continue using this natural remedy but also knew that I could not afford to go to the spa on a regular basis. So, I decided to formulate my own blend of herbs. I did my research on the benefits of different herbs then worked until I created the perfect formula to help solve my own feminine issues. After a few months I thought to myself , If I didn’t know about the relief V steaming provides imagine how many other women don’t . I felt it was my mission to educate as many women as I possible could about this natural remedy and provide them with this product. That’s how Luxury Yoni was born with a mission to give myself and other women what we truly deserve: Natural Products That actually work.

My company Luxury Yoni is the leading – edge feminine care & wellness company. I am super proud of myself for starting a growing this company to over a million in sales in less than 2 years and being able to help thousands of women by providing quality feminine care. As a single mother, having ti escape from a abusive marriage and still staying consistent and successful with my business. It was not easy, there was a lot of negativity surrounding the start and growth of my business. I would work my full-time Job for 8 to 12 hours per day then come home take care of my family and do an additional 4 to 6 hours of work on Luxury Yoni doing everything from packaging orders, answering customer service, creating content and captions to post on instagram, researching marketing strategies, answering dm’s etc. It was long hard nights but its all worth it. along the way I’ve learned that consistency is key, and that you can do anything you set your mind to and go after it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Favorite spot in my city – I love the Atlanta Botanical Garden, Cami Cakes and Slutty Vegan

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My dad is my biggest inspiration. As a child growing up I watched him hustle and stayed consistent in all his endeavors. if one thing didn’t work out he would try another. I got my drive and consistency from him. My kids are always supportive and encouraging, they push me to be a better me every day. The book Rich dad, Poor dad and The Secret changed my mindset forever and I grateful for the writers of those books as well
