Hi Essie, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Authenticity. I believe for me, authenticity is the most important factor in my practice. I have never been the type of person to “wear a mask” or hide who I am. I have found my younger self wishing I was able to do this at times, but as I’ve gotten older and wiser, I have found when you are able to be true to yourself it allows you to hold space for people who need it. It allows them to open up and feel safe being their authentic self. If everyone were able to have this, I think we would see much more healing in the world because we can be honest with ourselves and others.

What should our readers know about your business?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mother is the unsung hero who truly deserves recognition for her extraordinary resilience and dedication. As a young widow faced with the daunting task of raising four children on her own, she exemplified strength and determination that left a mark on our lives. Despite the challenges that life threw at her, my mom not only persevered but thrived in her role as both a provider and a nurturing figure. Her tireless work ethic, coupled with her ability to prioritize our needs, is nothing short of remarkable. Balancing the demands of a career with the responsibilities of motherhood, she never once compromised on the love and support she showed us. My mom’s remarkable journey is a testament to her selflessness and the sacrifices she made to ensure our well-being. It is an honor to recognize her as the person who has played a pivotal role in shaping not just my life but the lives of my siblings as well.
