We had the good fortune of connecting with Erika Weathers and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Erika, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
This is a very interesting question as a person I hope I am always evolving but my end goal would probably involve writing another book, being more active advocating for Breast Cancer becoming a motivational speaker traveling the world. I am currently a flight attendant and a Realtor for Palmer House Properties by year end I would hope to have sold several homes turning my Real estate Business into being one of the top Agents at my company. Along with my acting career taking off with multiple projects in film and television. I plan on be a very successful Realtor, Motivational Speaker and Actress, traveling the world to see all the wonders that it has to afford.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
During COV-ID I had lost my job as a flight attendant with 20+ years I didn’t want to start over so I continued my education and got my associate degree in Criminal Justice, I went to Real Estate school and got my license signed on with PalmerHouse as a Realtor, finished writing my book and self-published and continued auditioning for film, television and commercial work. I still needed a steady job with health benefits so I got a job with a new airline as a flight attendant so I could travel for free and make everything else work for me. I was based back in Atlanta where I live so that was a big benefit since I had to take a pay cut being back on reserve. I am so proud of myself for setting goals and completing them that can be so hard but it was so fulfilling. I just don’t know how I can top myself. I know I can’t, I just need to set new goals that will get me to my end goal. I will continue writing down my daily, monthly and yearly goals it makes you accountable seeing it on page can remind you to get back to your plan. I still get stuck, after being in the house so much during the pandemic just to get out and socialize and talk about my brand can be hard. I am a work in progress reach out if you in Atlanta and you are wanting to buy or sell a home. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When a friend or family visits Atlanta and has never been here I would take them to the Aquarium, World of Cola-Cola, National Center for Civil and Human Rights, Martin Luther King Jr. Historic Site, Piedmont park, to hike in Stone Mountain the Zoo, the Botanical Garden just to name a few of the great places Atlanta has to afford. We have great restaurant all around the city so based on their palate we will make a reservation from No Mas, Ray in the City, Old Lady Gang, Juicy crab, Too Urban licks to name a few.I live right Downtown with easy access to Centennial Park, The State Farm Arena & The Mercedes Benz Stadium, Atlanta is a great city to explore.
